What You’ll Do Perform specialized tasks such as bleaching, nightguards, crown deliveries, suture removals, and fabricating temporary restorations. Maintain patient function by cleaning and polishing removable appliances and ensuring proper fit. Produce study casts by pouring, trimming, and polishing, maintaining accurate lab case records and conducting quality checks. Ensure all radiographs are current, properly labeled, and utilized for diagnosis and treatment planning. Ensure all treatment plans and consent forms are signed and documented; complete periodontal charting and keep up to date. Provide shadowing opportunities and guidance to new assistants to ensure seamless onboarding and skill development. Uphold sterilization standards, adhere to OSHA guidelines, and maintain a safe, clean work environment for staff and patients. Contribute to a fun, friendly, and professional team atmosphere. Qualifications Position: GP Registered Dental Assistant Tier 1 Position Requirements What We’re Looking For Certified Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) – Texas state certification required 3–5 years of experience in a dental assisting role Proficiency in advanced chairside procedures, tools and diagnostics Experience with orthodontics, Invisalign, and assisting with dental implant surgeries is a plus Extensive experience and knowledge in taking dental radiographs (X-rays) and ensuring their accuracy and clarity Thorough understanding of sterilization and infection control protocols Excellent interpersonal skills and a patient-first attitude Strong teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with dentists, hygienists, and other dental staff Job Details Work Arrangement: Part-Time Location: Huebner Smiles Dentistry & Ort EOE: Texas Dental and Braces PLLC is an equal opportunity employer.
