Quality Manager

My Support Staff LLC

Job Description
Seeking a proactive and experienced Quality Manager to lead and oversee quality systems, product compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a quality leadership role. This position plays a critical role in developing strategies to enhance product quality, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadthe Quality Assurance team in maintaining and improving quality systems,procedures, and metrics across manufacturing operations.
Ensureongoing compliance with applicable industry standards and regulatoryrequirements.
Serveas the primary point of contact for customer and third-party audits,corrective actions, and product quality issues.
Implementand drive Lean Six Sigma projects to reduce variability, defects, andnon-conformities.
Monitorquality KPIs, conduct trend analysis, and report results to seniormanagement.
Develop,mentor, and train quality personnel to enhance team performance andengagement.
Collaboratewith Engineering, Production, Customer Service, and Supply Chain toresolve root causes of quality issues using structured problem-solvingtools (e.g., 8D, DMAIC).
Overseesupplier quality performance and assist in qualification and auditactivities.
Championa culture of continuous Improvement and operational excellence throughoutthe facility.

Requirements

Bachelor'sdegree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
Minimum5 years of experience in a Quality Manager or similar role within amanufacturing environment.
LeanSix Sigma Black Belt certification or Lean Practitioner Certification.
Proventrack record of leading successful quality initiatives and managingcross-functional teams.
Strongknowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, CAPA, rootcause analysis).
Familiaritywith APQP, PPAP, and supplier quality management.
Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Workingknowledge of SAP or comparable ERP systems.
Experienceusing Microsoft SharePoint for document control and collaboration.
Demonstratedsuccess leading Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Familiaritywith industry-specific standards or compliance requirements.
