Physical Therapist Assistant- Shore Acres Care Center April 2026- Grand Reopening Physical Therapy Assistant Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our rehabilitation team at Shore Acres Care Center , a state-of-the-art sub-acute medical care facility in St. Petersburg, Florida . As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality physical therapy services to our residents. - Conduct screenings of residents as scheduled for referral to Physical Therapist
- Contribute objective data to Physical Therapists as allowed by scope of practice
- Provide Physical Therapy treatment to residents when indicated per the plan of care
- Actively engage and contribute to the success of the rehab department, IDT, and facility success
- Minimum of Associate of Science in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program
- A current Florida PTA License
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Must be computer/tech-savvy
- PER DIEM flexible schedules
- EXCELLENT hourly rates starting at $35.00 + for Shore Acres
- Continuing Education Allowance
- Professional License Reimbursement
- Weekly Pay
- Holiday Pay
