TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Towson, Maryland, 21204!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Active state RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIH Must-Have: Previous charge experience, Patient ratio experience Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical/Surgical/Telemetry. The contract length is for 8 weeks. The shift will be nights, working 3 shifts of 12 hours each per week. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience. An active state RN license is required, along with certifications in BLS, ACLS, CPI, and NIH. Every other weekend is required, along with holiday shifts as scheduled. The position will involve floating within the specialty and possibly lower acuity units as needed. Candidates must be comfortable with required tasks including accessing/management of ports, managing BiPAP/CPAP, blood product administration, and cardiac telemetry. Proper management of medical devices, including pacemakers and IVs, is part of the job responsibilities. Up to 4 patients may be assigned per nurse on nights. Interdisciplinary support will be available through various services including IV teams and respiratory services. Compliance with all workplace policies and scheduling requests is necessary.
