Job Title Millwright (DIRECT HIRE!) Location Portland, OR Pay $37.87 / hr ($78,769.60 / yr) Pay & Benefits Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, Holiday Pay, etc. Responsibilities Maintain and repair industrial manufacturing equipment for a shingle mill. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Follow preventative maintenance routines. Weld and fabricate. Additional Skills & Qualifications Must have at least 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance. Shift Schedule is a 12‑hour night shift (6pm–6am) with a 3 on/4 off/4 on/3 off rotation. The pattern repeats every two weeks: 3 twelve‑hour shifts one week, 4 the next. Over a 2‑week period you work 84 hours. Overtime is paid time‑and‑a‑half after 10 hours in a day and after 40 hours in a week. This means that in a two‑week period, 28 hours of your 84 hours worked will be paid out as overtime at time and a half. Environment Industrial manufacturing, somewhat dirty and dusty due to nature of product they make (shingles). Heavy industrial machinery, can be loud in areas. Steel‑toed boots and hard hats type of environment. Safety glasses and earplugs required.
