Sterile Processing Tech

Night shift, 5 days a week from 23:00 to 07:30.

Contract length: varies based on assignment; must be flexible with schedule.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Sterile Processing.
• CBSPD and IAHCSMM/HSPA certifications preferred.
• Experience with flexible cystoscopes and SPD sterilization equipment, specifically Steris Steam Sterilizers and Stryker VP4 Machines.
• Ability to serve as a preceptor for peers and new employees.
• Monthly bioburden error rate of 0.1% or less, with an average of 20 trays per day.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the effective cleaning, packaging, and sterilization of surgical instruments.
• Maintain high standards of sterilization protocols and procedures.
• Assist in training new staff and serving as a resource for peers.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with all sterilization guidelines and practices.
