Project Manager - BESS

A leading \"U.S.\" energy infrastructure company is looking for an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of utility-scale battery energy storage and substation projects. This is a key project delivery position, responsible for managing projects from engineering and procurement through construction and commissioning, while coordinating internal teams, EPC contractors, subcontractors and other project stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Lead project delivery across safety, schedule, budget, quality and overall project performance Manage EPC contractors and subcontractors throughout construction and project execution Coordinate engineering and design resources, ensuring deliverables remain aligned with project requirements and schedules Develop and maintain project schedules, identifying risks, delays and recovery strategies Manage project budgets, forecasts, procurement, materials, change orders and cost controls Review and manage RFIs, technical issues and project documentation Oversee construction quality and ensure work is delivered in accordance with project specifications Support project safety requirements, including JHAs and site safety processes Maintain strong relationships with EPC partners, subcontractors, engineering teams and internal stakeholders Monitor contract compliance and help resolve commercial or delivery issues Provide regular project reporting and communicate key risks, milestones and performance to senior leadership Experience Required Proven Project Management experience within utility-scale energy, BESS, substations, power infrastructure or a closely related sector Experience managing EPC contractors and complex construction projects Strong understanding of project schedules, budgets, procurement and contract management Experience working across engineering, construction and commissioning phases Strong commercial and stakeholder management skills Ability to manage multiple project priorities while maintaining focus on safety, quality, schedule and cost Willingness to travel to project sites as required Why This Opportunity?
