Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: Valid RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: New grads must have 3 years of experience. Seasoned RNs must have 2 years of experience. Description: The role requires an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room. The candidate will provide care for patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics. The nurse will manage acute emergencies presenting to the department. Patient ratios are 4 patients per nurse, day and night. Experience with trauma and emergency care is preferred. The candidate should be skilled in various emergency procedures. Responsibilities include administering medications and monitoring patients. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential for effective patient care. A commitment to maintaining patient safety and quality care is expected. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Documentation experience with an electronic charting system is required. Additional certifications may be necessary depending on the role. This position may require float responsibilities to other units as needed. Compliance with all policies and procedures is mandatory. This role is crucial for delivering high-quality emergency care.
