Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology (IR) specialty in Saint Louis. This position involves providing care for adult patients undergoing all adult interventional radiology procedures, including neuro-, body-, and musculoskeletal interventions. The role requires managing procedures involving sedation, monitoring patients during complex interventions, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in a short-term acute care facility.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shifts, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 08/17/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Missouri or compact state license (or license in hand for Illinois), 2 years of IR experience, BLS and ACLS certifications, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, procedural sedation monitoring and administration, ventilator management, critical care experience (ICU or Emergency Department background preferred), experience with charting systems (EPIC preferred), and pass Relias EKG exam.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neuro-interventional, vascular, MSK procedures, and high-volume procedural environments.
• Additional Information:
  • No visible tattoos or facial piercings unless covered.
  • Must work independently and adapt to procedural area needs, with ability to work past scheduled shifts for procedures.
  • Weekend coverage of 1-2 weekends during the 13-week contract, with additional call responsibilities as outlined.
  • Assistance with pre-procedure phone calls and post-procedure care using sedation agents such as Fentanyl and Versed.
  • Ultrasound, fluoroscopic, and CT-guided procedures involved.
  • Will be assisting with patient monitoring and procedural sedation in a trauma and stroke center environment.
  • Strict adherence to licensing, compliance deadlines, and facility policies on floating and RTO is required.
