Closing Paralegal / Real Estate Closer, Columbia, SC Salary: $60,000 - $85,000 per year Key Responsibilities Manage the full real estate transaction cycle from contract execution through post-closing Prepare and review closing documents including title commitments, settlement statements, deeds, and loan documents Coordinate closely with lenders, real estate agents, title companies, and attorneys throughout the transaction process Maintain organized transaction files and ensure all deadlines and compliance requirements are met Communicate proactively with all parties to keep closings on track and resolve any issues that arise Utilize closing software such as SoftPro, ResWare, or Qualia to manage transactions efficiently Qualifications Paralegal certificate, associate's or bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience in a real estate closing environment Minimum 2 years of real estate closing experience, with 5 years being idealExperience managing residential or commercial transactions from contract through post-closing Strong working knowledge of title commitments, settlement statements, deeds, and loan documentation Familiarity with SoftPro, ResWare, Qualia, or similar closing software is a strong plus Proven ability to manage multiple active files simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with lenders, agents, and legal counsel A bit about us Founded nearly three decades ago and based in Columbia, SC, with other offices in Sumter, Greenville, Orangeburg, and Mount Pleasant, we are a full-service South Carolina law firm serving the Midlands and beyond.
