Job description

Primary Duties:

• Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
• Carry out all duties assigned by Director of Nursing in evaluating, planning, and implementing plans of care.
• Administer injections, distribute medications, take vital signs, collect samples, and assist with other basic medical care tasks.
• Complete insurance reviews and pre-certifications, admissions and discharges.
• Observe and record patient’s symptoms, condition, and/or reactions to medications, treatments and report results to charge nurse/supervisor.
• Provide emotional and psychological support when needed.
• Maintain professional communications and interactions with clinical and support staff members.

Education / Experience:

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Registered Nuese (RN) active license in the State of Pennsylvania.

Skills and Physical Requirements: required:

• Have good communication and interpersonal Skills and Physical Requirements.
• Communicate effectively with patient, families, and outside referral agencies.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in the client record.
• Ability to perform functions of LPN/RN in substance abuse setting.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged period of time on your feet
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: From $30.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34.5 – 46 per week
