Technical Business Development Manager

Position Title: Technical Business Development Manager Location: Remote with 50% travel (domestic and some international) Required Skills & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering 7+ years of engineering experience overall 3+ years in Business Development, Sales, or similar roles Strong understanding of semiconductor, capital equipment, or high-tech manufacturing markets Experience building customer relationships and driving growth initiatives Ability to work across global teams, cultures, and geographies Background in semiconductor, aerospace & defense, industrial automation, or complex electronics industries Experience in semiconductor test, ATE, or adjacent semiconductor equipment markets Overview: We are seeking a strategic and technically savvy Business Development Manager to grow and manage key customer accounts across North America and Europe for semiconductor ATE solutions. Key Responsibilities: Market & Business Development Identify and develop new opportunities with semiconductor companies, including IDMs, Fabless organizations, and OSAT providers Drive early engagement for new platforms, upgrades, and technology transitions Develop regional growth strategies aligned with product roadmaps and marketing priorities Support customer design-ins, roadmap alignment, and long-term account expansion Strategic Account Management Build and maintain senior-level customer and partner relationships Lead strategic business reviews, roadmap discussions, and executive briefings Engage with foundries, OSATs, and technology partners to drive growth Represent the company at industry events, customer workshops, and technical forums Cross-Functional Leadership Partner with Sales, Product Marketing, Applications Engineering, and Product Management teams Support go-to-market strategies, customer requirements, product positioning, and roadmap planning Provide market and competitive insights to internal stakeholders Market Strategy & Opportunity Development Monitor market trends, customer investments, and competitive activity Identify opportunities in AI, automotive, industrial, power, and advanced packaging markets Shape early-stage opportunities before formal RFQs are issued Support value proposition development, ROI justification, and regional growth planning Compensation: $113-150k base + 10% performance based bonus Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. #J-18808-Ljbffr Insight Global
