You'll serve as a key point of contact for patients while supporting appointment scheduling, medical records, and daily administrative needs.Key ResponsibilitiesWelcome patients, complete check-in and check-out, and collect copays and deposits.Answer incoming calls, direct inquiries, and coordinate new and follow-up appointments.Prepare registration documents, verify patient information, and maintain electronic medical records.Create and update patient charts while ensuring records remain accurate and confidential.Reach out to patients when earlier appointment times become available.Communicate courteously with patients, families, providers, and office staff.Help keep the front office organized and examination rooms prepared.Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and established facility procedures.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.Minimum of one year of administrative experience.At least one year of hands-on experience using electronic medical records (EMR).Previous healthcare experience preferred.Strong communication, customer service, and organizational abilities.Familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar applications.Understanding of medical terminology, recordkeeping, and patient confidentiality.Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a busy healthcare setting.BenefitsHealth, dental, and vision insuranceLife and disability insurance401(k) retirement planPaid time off (PTO)Employee discounts and free parkingTravel reimbursementEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Professional development assistanceBonusly employee recognition and rewardsDailyPay - Access your pay when you need itJoin Our Team Enjoy helping patients feel welcome while building your career in healthcare administration.
