Certified Retail Pharmacy Technician | Vinton, Virginia

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Technician with expertise in retail and mail order pharmacy settings. This role is based in Vinton, VA, and requires a detail-oriented professional with verified certification as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).

Key Responsibilities:

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately.
Manage mail order pharmacy processes while ensuring compliance with regulations.
Provide quality customer service and support in a retail pharmacy environment.
Maintain proper documentation and handle inventory management efficiently.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and medication accuracy.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential required.
Experience in retail pharmacy operations and pharmacy technician duties.
Knowledge of mail order pharmacy processes is essential.
Strong understanding of prescription medication handling and pharmacy laws.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
