Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney

Our client is seeking an 2+ years experienced Litigation Attorney to join their team in civil defense litigation.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage cases from pleadings through trial, including trial preparation and co-counsel responsibilities
• Handle discovery: propound/respond, medical record review, and summaries
• Conduct depositions of plaintiffs, witnesses, and expert witnesses
• Prepare and argue motions, attend court hearings, and manage deadlines
• Provide case status reports to insurance carriers and manage caseload independently

Qualifications:

• Prior insurance defense experience preferred (not mandatory)
• Strong litigation skills: discovery, depositions, court appearances, trial prep
• Ability to independently manage a caseload under partner supervision
• Excellent oral advocacy and written communication skills
• Self-starter with strong multitasking ability in a deadline-driven environment
