Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney

Our client is seeking an 2+ years experienced Litigation Attorney to join their team in civil defense litigation. Roles & Responsibilities: Manage cases from pleadings through trial, including trial preparation and co-counsel responsibilities Handle discovery: propound/respond, medical record review, and summaries Conduct depositions of plaintiffs, witnesses, and expert witnesses Prepare and argue motions, attend court hearings, and manage deadlines Provide case status reports to insurance carriers and manage caseload independently Qualifications: Prior insurance defense experience preferred (not mandatory) Strong litigation skills: discovery, depositions, court appearances, trial prep Ability to independently manage a caseload under partner supervision Excellent oral advocacy and written communication skills Self-starter with strong multitasking ability in a deadline-driven environment Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience Training and mentorship, including exposure to experienced trial attorneys (ABOTA members) Strong trial experience and career growth opportunities Supportive environment for new admittees and junior attorneys Opportunity to work on high-value cases (catastrophic injury, wrongful death, HOA)
