School Psychologist – Bridgewater, New Jersey (Surrounding Areas) Leave Coverage | Full-Time Make a meaningful impact in a collaborative and student-centered educational environment dedicated to supporting middle school students. This full-time leave coverage opportunity offers the chance to serve as a key member of the Child Study Team, working with approximately 40 students in grades 6–8 to support their academic, social, and emotional development. Assignment Details: Location: Bridgewater, NJ (serving surrounding areas) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM Duration: September 1, 2026 – December 23, 2026 Caseload: Approximately 40 students Grade Levels: 6th–8th Role: Member of the Child Study Team Key Qualifications: Valid New Jersey certification as a School Psychologist (required) Previous experience working in a school setting, preferably with middle school students Strong knowledge of Child Study Team processes and special education regulations Experience conducting psychological evaluations and interpreting assessment data Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment Primary Responsibilities: Serve as an active member of the Child Study Team, supporting student evaluations and services Conduct initial evaluations, re-evaluations, and psychological assessments in compliance with NJ state guidelines Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement IEPs and intervention plans Provide counseling and crisis support services as needed Support students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs to enhance academic success Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state policies Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development opportunities Compensation for this position ranges from $45.11 to $65.11. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
