Launch Manager

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Launch Manager to lead new product introductions and manufacturing readiness activities from planning through production ramp-up. This role will coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, and manufacturing to ensure successful product launches. The ideal candidate has proven experience leading product launches in a manufacturing environment, driving accountability across multiple teams, managing risks, and ensuring readiness for production.

Required Skills & Experience

* 5+ years of experience leading product launches, NPI, or major operational changes in a manufacturing environment.

* Strong manufacturing launch experience with ownership of readiness from planning through pilot builds and production ramp.

* Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, maintenance, production, and program/product management.

* Strong understanding of manufacturing readiness, including BOM readiness, material planning, capacity planning, equipment/tooling readiness, warehousing, and production flow.

* Experience developing and managing launch plans, stage gates, readiness reviews, risk mitigation plans, and issue resolution.

* Ability to drive accountability across multiple workstreams and SME teams simultaneously.

* Strong communication skills with both shop-floor personnel and leadership teams.

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.


Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Automotive or HVAC manufacturing/launch experience.

* APQP, PPAP, or stage-gate launch methodology experience.

* ERP/MRP experience supporting BOM management, parts ordering, and launch execution.
