Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,170 – $2,330 (competitive travel Echo Tech pay)
• Location: Cape May Court House, NJ (Zip: 08210) — Cape May County, New Jersey
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Monday–Friday with rotational weekends
• Shift: 8-hour days (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• On Call: Weekday and weekend call required
• Hours per Week: 40

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer in a hospital setting
• Registration required through ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS)
• EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) experience required
• Current BLS certification from AHA required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform transthoracic and targeted echocardiograms and other cardiac imaging procedures for inpatients and outpatients
• Operate echo equipment, optimize images, and document findings per hospital protocol
• Collaborate with cardiologists, physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare team to support patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting in EPIC EMR
• Participate in rotational weekend shifts and on-call coverage as scheduled
• Adhere to infection control, safety standards, and hospital policies for quality cardiac sonography services
