Duties and Responsibilities Maintain a safe, clean, and professional treatment environment Deliver a welcoming, professional, and service-oriented experience Perform massage techniques based on client needs, preferences, and wellness goals Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills Maintain appropriate professional standards and comply with all applicable Illinois massage therapy requirements Provide availability primarily during afternoon and evening hours Operate as an independent contractor in accordance with Northwestern University Athletics and Recreation requirements Provide a safe, friendly, and inclusive learning environment Perform other work as assigned Qualifications Current Illinois license and registration to practice massage therapy(required) Current massage therapy certification from a nationally accredited program(required) Minimum of one year of professional massage therapy experience Current professional liability insurance coverage Additional Information 3–5 years of professional massage therapy experience preferred Experience and/or certifications in: Swedish Massage Deep TissueMassage SportsMassage Hot Stone Massage As an independent contractor with Northwestern University Athletics and Recreation, the selected therapist will have access to: Facility membership at the Henry Crown Sports Pavilion Group Exercise classes #J-18808-Ljbffr
