Interventional Cardiologist

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a full-time Interventional Cardiologist to join their established cardiology team in Southeast Texas. This permanent position is available due to a planned retirement, offering an excellent opportunity to step into a busy practice. The incoming physician will have access to a fully equipped cardiac cath lab and a collaborative clinical team dedicated to exceptional cardiac care. Practice Info Join an established cardiology team in Southeast Texas. Access to a fully equipped cardiac cath lab. Clinic volume: 15-20 patients a day. Procedures performed include coronary angioplasty and stent placement, right and left heart catheterization, diagnostic coronary angiography, CT angiography, nuclear cardiology, 2D echocardiology, and TAVR program. Rotating weekend & ER call coverage. Physicians currently take their own call Monday - Friday. The schedule for cath procedures is provider based, with physicians working office in the AM having afternoon scheduled times in cath lab, and physicians working office in the PM having morning cath lab times. Providers normally start at 8:00 and 12:00 in cath lab. Requirements MD or DO. Fellowship-trained in Interventional Cardiology. Board Eligible or Board Certified.
