Field Service Technician Martinsburg, WV, United States What you will enjoy doing Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of oxygen producing plants at customer sites. Solve field site issues while maintaining and operating air separation plants with minimal supervision. Interact with customers across various production plant types, providing guidance, support, and clear communication. Maintain safety, quality, and compliance activities at each plant location to uphold Linde’s high standards. Perform routine maintenance and calibrations on compressors, gas analyzers, and control systems. Manage time effectively to complete operations and maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting and diagnosing plant problems. Coordinate contractors and resources to support plant activities, audits, and administrative requirements while driving efficiency through strategic planning and project management. What Makes You Great Hold a High School Degree; an Associate Degree in a technical field preferred, and 2‑5 years of operations experience in air separation or similar process control environments. Expertise in instrumentation, control, and general maintenance of industrial equipment. Proficiency in mechanical and electrical maintenance, including compressors; military engineering experience highly regarded. Strong safety awareness and procedural adherence while troubleshooting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing equipment. Understanding of process control schematics and ability to communicate technical information clearly in both verbal and written form. Proficient with computers, Microsoft applications, and process control systems; strong organizational and time‑management skills. Meet physical requirements: confined space entry, climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working at heights. Available to work extended hours when business needs arise. Flexible to support weekend, holiday, and call‑in coverage. Reliable and safety‑focused presence during critical operational periods. Familiar with procurement processes and quality control analyzers; ability to work in dynamic conditions including driving service trucks, office work, and physical activity.
