This high-impact, field-based role (up to 95% travel across San Antonio and surrounding areas) focuses on securing safe, stable, and lasting placements through strong coordination, advocacy, and hands‑on support. Key Responsibilities Manage permanency cases from removal through reunification or adoption, ensuring timely, stable placements Assess child safety, family needs, and placement options to guide effective case planning Partner with caregivers, kinship providers, and adoptive families to create safe, nurturing environments Collaborate with courts, CPS, and public/private agencies to move cases forward efficiently Lead case conferences, home visits, and permanency planning efforts, including adoption readiness Maintain accurate, detailed case documentation and meet all reporting requirements Provide crisis intervention and 24/7 on‑call support on a rotating basis Advocate for each child’s long‑term well‑being, including family reunification and adoption outcomes Requirements Strong knowledge of child development, family dynamics, and permanency planning Ability to travel and attend child and family visits as well as other work‑related appointments and meetings after 5PM . - open to shifts, flexible - commitment to be available on call.
