Job Overview A law firm seeks an Energy Associate in Houston, TX, with 1 to 4 years of relevant large law firm transactional experience to join their Corporate Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of experience in energy development and/or energy project finance. Responsibilities Draft energy‑related development agreements. Engage in tax equity financing structures. Collaborate within the Corporate Practice Group. Requirements 1 to 4 years of relevant transactional experience. Experience in energy development or project finance preferred. Excellent academic credentials. Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills. Education Juris Doctor degree from an ABA‑accredited law school. Certifications Member of the District of Columbia, Florida, Illinois, New York, North Carolina, or Texas bars, depending on office location. Skills Proficiency in drafting and negotiating agreements.
