Insurance Intern- Tri Cities

Conduct outbound calls to Medicare-eligible individuals to prequalify and schedule appointments with licensed agents. Manage and organize incoming leads from various sources including marketing campaigns, referrals, and outreach efforts. Assist licensed agents in maintaining lead databases and appointment calendars. Participate in mentorship with a licensed Medicare agent to gain practical insights into client interaction and compliance. Support additional administrative and outreach projects as assigned. Qualifications Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program. Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, especially over the phone. Comfortable using CRM systems and lead tracking tools. Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality of client information. Willingness to learn about Medicare products, ethical sales practices, and compliance standards. Background check and fingerprinting may be required depending on system access. Location : Fully remote Duration : Semester‑long. Hours : Flexible, 5 to 25 hours per week. Compensation : Compensation is performance‑based, with earnings influenced by outreach activity and successful engagement outcomes. Equipment Provided : Laptop, soft phone, and headset. Performance Standards Demonstrates a positive and cooperative attitude toward team members and prospective clients. Maintains accuracy in lead tracking and appointment setting. Professional in appearance, attendance, and quality of work. Complies with HIPAA, CMS guidelines, and internal compliance policies.
