In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.We anticipate accepting applications up through September 8, 2026.CDL Driver OverviewThe CDL Driver is responsible for delivering products to clients; inspect the general condition of the vehicle; prepare, load, unload, operate, and clean the vehicle. Review standing orders, develop sales, process payments, and maintain records.Primary ResponsibilitiesResponsible for delivering and servicing all products within assigned accountsMerchandises and stocks all coolers to effectively increase sell-through of productsManages, rotates, and maintains a neat inventory in each accountProvides excellent customer service to accounts, effectively resolves concerns or issues with professionalism and in a timely mannerHonors all personal and business commitments to all customersOperates company vehicle safely, courteously, and obeys all traffic regulationsResponsible for completion of all sales tickets, obtaining payment for product at all accounts, POD's collected and all related paperwork.Completion of daily Check In/Out process, DOT pre-trips and post-trips.Perform other duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsMust have excellent customer service skillsRequires a strong attention to detailMust be able to meet company MVR standardExcellent communication skills with customers and co-workersMust demonstrate an ability to operate company vehicles and equipment safely and effectivelyAble to quickly learn product and account characteristicsMust be able to work independently, exercising sound judgment and initiative.Must be able to think critically, adapt to change and utilize available resources to solve problemsHigh school diploma or GED requiredValid Class A CDL and DOT medical card requiredClear motor vehicle record for the past three (3) years requiredPrevious driving and/or delivery experience preferredMust be at least 21 years of agePhysical DemandsPhysical demands include a considerable amount of time walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stoopingMust be able to frequently lift, lower, push, carry, or pull up to 48 poundsMust be able to regularly sit and operate machinery such as a forklift, pallet jacks, and battery change stationsWork may involve repetitive motions, working at varying heights, and exposure to warehouse environmental conditionsExtended hours, overtime, weekends, and peak?season schedules may be requiredEEO StatementSouthern Glazer's Wine and Spirits, an Affirmative Action/EEO employer, prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type and provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
