Registered Nurse - NICU

Location: McKinney, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care for our neonate patients, attending deliveries including C-sections, and working collaboratively with medical professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to newborns in the Level III NICU.
• Monitor vital signs and administer medications as needed.
• Utilize specialized equipment, including BCPAP and HFNCP.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech and CPNS systems.
• Coordinate with healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting, specifically in NICU.
• Current RN license in Texas (Active TX RN License only; temporary licenses will not be accepted).
• BLS and NRP certifications are required.
• Experience with Meditech documentation system is preferred.
