As a Pulmonology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with respiratory conditions, including asthma, COPD, pneumonia, and other pulmonary disorders. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients while working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough physical assessments and medical screenings of patients with pulmonary conditions.Diagnose and treat common respiratory illnesses, including asthma, bronchitis, and pneumonia.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, considering their medical history, current symptoms, and lifestyle factors.Prescribe medications and therapies, such as inhalers, antibiotics, and pulmonary rehabilitation programs.Educate patients and their families on the importance of proper disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.Perform diagnostic procedures, such as spirometry, chest X-rays, and arterial blood gas analysis.Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.RequirementsMinimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facilityActive and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician licenseDEA LicenseCPR BCLS/BLS certifiedMust hold a Master's Degree in NursingLocal Travel 100% requiredCompleted a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner programA year of experience in Pulmonology or respiratory carePreferred experience in Documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.): training providedMust have great organizational and time management skills.Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand / walk / work on your feet up to 6-8 hours per dayBenefitsCompetitive salary per annum: $60,000 - $90,000Paid Time OffMalpractice insurance coverageWhy Work With Us?Make a meaningful impact on the lives of seniorsWork in a collaborative, mission-driven environmentEnjoy work-life balanceEqual Opportunity EmployerInfinite Medical P.C is an equal-opportunity employer.
