What You'll Do

• This is a part time position offering 10-15 hours per week running groups, individual sessions, documentation, and communicating with the treatment team when needed.
• Contribute ideas to enhance programming—we welcome creativity, from experiential groups to innovative interventions.
• Facilitate engaging psychoeducational and recovery-focused groups (with co-facilitation support when needed).
• Be part of a feedback-driven culture that celebrates growth, teamwork, and gratitude (including our unique pendant recognition program).

What We're Looking For

• This is an entry or mid-level counselor position reserved for someone working towards licensure. A Bachelor's degree is required at minimum, and a license is required.
• Working toward licensure in some capacity (LPCC, CSW, MFTC, CAS, LAC etc.).
• At least 1 year of behavioral health or SUD treatment experience (internships count!).
• Strong communication skills and a passion for building relationships.
• A willingness to grow through supervision, professional development, and creative problem-solving.

Compensation & Benefits

• $25-50 hourly depending on experience and based on education/licensure.
• Benefits package (health, dental, vision, PTO, supervision support) NOT eligible for Part Time Employees at this time.

• Full-time positions frequently open-up at Ava Health, especially during this time of growth. For now, the position is Part Time yet there is room for growth.
