Overview
Respiratory Therapist – Registered Respiratory Therapist travel assignment in Berlin, VT. Start date 07/20/2026 for a 4-week contract. Weekly pay range: $1,909 to $1,998 per week. Guaranteed hours: not guaranteed. Shift: 12-hour night shifts (3x per week). Setting: hospital-based respiratory care unit.

Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients across ICU and ED settings per physician orders, including mechanical ventilation management and airway support.
- Operate and adjust ventilators (e.g., Hamilton C3 and T1), V60 NIV, Airvo 2, and F&P heated HFNC/Bubble CPAP; monitor patient response and collaborate with the care team on ventilator weaning and NIV therapy.
- Administer inhaled therapies (bronchodilators, hyperinflation therapy), airway clearance techniques, and NIV; perform ABG analysis and document findings in the EMR.
- Collaborate with Pulmonary Critical Care physicians and hospitalists; participate in rounds, implement unit protocols, and participate in external transports for adult critical care patients as needed.
- Ensure accurate documentation in EPIC; maintain equipment readiness and adhere to infection control practices; support rapid response and critical care workflows.

Requirements
- Current respiratory therapist license on file at time of submission; registered respiratory therapist (RRT) credential required; NBRC verification preferred.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required; active NRP and NBRC verification preferred.
- Experience: minimum of 2 years clinical experience; neonate and pediatric (NICU/PICU) experience highly desired.
- EMR experience: EPIC experience within the past 2 years required or nonnegotiable.
- Ability to work in a hospital setting including ICU and ED; must be able to start within the next week; willingness to work a 12-hour night shift schedule.
