Inspector

You will serve as an INSPECTOR in the OFFICE OF THE INSPECTOR GENERAL of COMMANDER US PACIFIC FLEET. SALARY RANGES: GS-13: $111,119 - $144,457 GS-12: $93,445 - $121,482 GS-13: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning, directing, and executing complex and sensitive investigations into allegations of waste, fraud, abuse, and mismanagement by applying advanced analytical techniques providing authoritative guidance on organizational compliance and enforcement drafting investigative reports briefing senior-level officials on sensitive case findings and recommended dispositions. GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning and conducting investigations into allegations of waste, fraud, and abuse by applying analytical techniques to gather and evaluate evidence reading and interpreting regulations and administrative policies to ensure compliance and enforcement during investigative activities interviewing subjects, summarizing findings, and documenting recommendations for case disposition.
