Field Registered Nurse (RN)

We care for older adults beginning to need some help around the house, seniors who want to continue living at home, individuals with disabilities, and medically fragile children. Responsibilities: Perform basic hands-on tasks of nursing such as urethral catheterizations, injections, etc. as required. Maintain comprehensive client files by documenting all client encounters. Observe and report health and safety issues Provide ADLs Cleaning and dressing wounds, monitoring healing progress, and educating patients on proper wound care practices. Qualifications: Positive, Energetic, & Outgoing Personality Current and valid Oregon RN license Experience with G-Tube Feeding Trach suctioning, care and canula replacement, oxygen administration, venting experience Medication Administration Full knowledge of assessments and treatments Respiratory treatments Vest treatments Sanitation/equipment cleaning LPN's and RN's are required to be competent in communication skills, observation, assessment and documentation of care and infection control procedures Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while determining priorities and managing a changing environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community and workplace EEOC Statement New Horizons is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate based on race, religion, color, national origin, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, veteran status, disability, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
