Tableau Developer (Contract) - Hybrid | Charlotte, NC Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid - 3-4 days onsite) Duration: 6-Month Contract W2 ONLY - No 3rd party vendors will be accepted for this role Must be local to Charlotte, NC to be considered for this role- Not interested in relocation candidates at this point. About the Role We are seeking an experienced Tableau Developer to join our team on a 6-month contract. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about transforming complex data into meaningful, interactive dashboards that support business decision-making. The ideal candidate has strong Tableau development experience, advanced SQL skills, and the ability to work directly with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver high-quality analytics solutions. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports. Gather and translate business requirements into effective reporting solutions. Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data. Connect Tableau to multiple enterprise data sources. Ensure dashboard accuracy, performance, and usability. Troubleshoot reporting issues and implement enhancements. Collaborate with business users, analysts, and technical teams throughout the development lifecycle. Document reporting solutions and best practices. Required Qualifications 4+ years of Tableau development experience. Strong experience building dashboards, scorecards, and visual analytics. Advanced SQL skills. Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, or similar platforms. Ability to work directly with business stakeholders and gather reporting requirements. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Tableau Server or Tableau Cloud. Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, or AWS data platforms. Knowledge of Power BI is a plus. Experience in financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, or other enterprise environments.
