Payroll Clerk (Bilingual-English/Spanish)

Location: Bellevue, NE

Pay Range: Based on experience

Essential Duties

Process weekly payroll in accordance with company policies and payroll regulations. Review employee time records for accuracy and completeness. Maintain payroll records, employee earnings, deductions, garnishments, benefits, and tax withholdings. Enter and update employee payroll information Respond to employee payroll questions Assist with payroll audits, reconciliations, and reporting requirements. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and company policies. Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll and personnel information Prepare payroll-related reports for management and accounting Assist with year-end payroll processing including W-2 preparation and related reconciliations. Support timekeeping system administration and troubleshoot payroll discrepancies. Perform other accounting, administrative, or payroll-related duties as assigned.

Education

Associate degree in Accounting, Business, Human Resources, or related field preferred

Minimum Requirements

13 years of payroll, accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative experience preferred Experience with payroll software systems preferred (ADP, Paychex, Acumatica, etc.)

Technical Skills

Basic understanding of payroll practices and wage/hour laws Knowledge of payroll deductions, garnishments, benefits, and taxes Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word Strong data entry and 10-key skills with high accuracy Ability to maintain confidential employee information
