Forklift Operator

Our client, a local manufacturing company, is seeking a Forklift Operator to support warehouse and shipping operations. The ideal candidate will have forklift experience, a strong focus on safety, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: North Tonawanda, NY

Pay Range: $22/hr

Shift Options:

• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Overtime is typically required every other Saturday.

What's the Job?

• Operate industrial forklift to load and unload trucks according to customer requirements

• Keep accurate records of shipped and received materials

• Inspect forklift daily to ensure safety features are operational

• Participate in cross-training efforts and share duties with other drivers

• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area and equipment

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or G.E.D.

• Valid driver’s license

• Previous forklift experience preferred; certification is a plus but not required

• Ability to read and interpret documents and instructions in English

• Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, and operate forklift in various conditions
