A minimum of 2 years of RN experience in cardiovascular intensive care is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from the American Heart Association are necessary. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. Skills in patient assessment, critical thinking, and teamwork are recommended.
