Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in either inpatient or outpatient environments and create personalized treatment strategies
• Administer physical therapy techniques aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Collaborate effectively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to achieve the best patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families about treatment goals, discharge plans, and at-home exercise regimens
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in line with facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in care team rounds and interdisciplinary meetings to guarantee coordinated patient care

Education

• Earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a DPT / Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
• Specialized credentials such as neurological or geriatric certifications are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Previous hands-on experience is highly regarded
