Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry Job Details: Location: Lithonia, GA Contract Length: 13 Weeks Unit: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Service Line: Long-Term Nursing Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit. The RN will be responsible for assessing, monitoring, and treating patients with various medical and surgical conditions while utilizing telemetry monitoring and collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team. Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry setting. Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes. Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies according to physician orders and established protocols. Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in the electronic medical record. Educate patients and families regarding medical conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions. Ensure compliance with patient safety standards and infection-control procedures. Requirements: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. Minimum of 18 months of relevant nursing experience. Experience in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry nursing is required. Current BLS certification is required. ACLS and NIHSS certifications are preferred. Previous travel nursing experience is preferred.
