Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients transitioning from critical to stable conditions
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform frequent patient assessments
• Respond swiftly to changes in patient status and communicate updates clearly to the healthcare team
• Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and other nursing team members to ensure patient-centered care
• Educate patients and their families on recovery plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards

Schedule/Hours:

• Contract position with flexible scheduling

Desired Qualifications:

• Active RN license (current and in good standing)
• Recent experience in a stepdown or progressive care setting is required
• Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
• Strong critical thinking and communication abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting to rapidly changing situations
