Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity invites licensed pharmacists to provide flexible, per diem coverage across multiple retail grocery pharmacy locations within the Akron, Cleveland, and Canton areas. As a floating staff pharmacist, you will support daily pharmacy operations while enjoying a self-scheduling model that allows you to select shifts that best fit your availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and safely in a retail grocery pharmacy setting
• Oversee pharmacy operations including inventory management, data entry, and tech supervision
• Deliver excellent customer service with a focus on patient care
• Collaborate with 2-3 pharmacy technicians during most shifts; provide pharmacist-only coverage at lower-volume stores as needed
• Use McKesson EnterpriseRx software for prescription processing
• Float between different store locations within Akron, Cleveland, and Canton, requiring reliable transportation

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Ohio Pharmacist license
• 1-2 years of retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Ability and willingness to travel between multiple pharmacy locations
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Schedule & Training:

• Per diem, self-scheduling model: each month, choose from a list of available shifts
• Three paid 8-hour training shifts are required before beginning regular coverage
• Training may occur at stores outside your preferred area
• Smock/uniform provided upon onboarding
