Opportunity to work on a variety of units (PCU, Med Surg and ED Holds) Excellent opportunities for educational and career growth including advancement opportunities in leadership Education Here’s What You Need: Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred Experience 1-year experience as a registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required Med/Surg and Progressive Care experience strongly preferred Licenses And Certifications RN – Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support - prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support - within 90 days of hire Required CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training – within 90 days of hire Required NIHSS - required for ICU/PCU Neighborhood 6 Months Required What You Will Do Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process assesses the patient plans the care of the patient intervenes as appropriate evaluates the effectiveness of intervention Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
