The Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC) and The Ohio State University College of Medicine seeks a Laryngologist to join our nationally recognized academic health system. This position offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment dedicated to excellence in patient care, education, and research.

The successful candidate will join a comprehensive team providing advanced care for disorders of the voice, airway, and swallowing. Care of patients with benign and cancer-related dysphagia will be the focus of this faculty position. The faculty member will participate in clinical care, teaching, and scholarly activity while contributing to the continued growth of the Division of Laryngology.

OSUWMC is a tertiary referral center serving patients across Ohio and the Midwest, providing access to cutting-edge technology, research infrastructure, and multidisciplinary care teams.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD)
  • Completion of an ACGME – accredited residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery
  • Completion of an American Laryngological Association recognized fellowship in Laryngology
  • Board certified or board eligible in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery by the American Board of Otolaryngology (ABOHNS)
  • Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Ohio
  • Demonstrated expertise in the diagnosis and surgical management of laryngeal, swallowing, airway, and voice disorders
  • Commitment to academic medicine, patient care excellence, teaching, and scholarly activity
  • Qualify for an academic appointment at the assistant or associate professor level – Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with previous training and experience
