Job Description
Humana Inc. seeks a Senior Data Engineer in Louisville, KY.
Duties: Design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies. Work with a teams of machine learning developers and data scientists with deep experience in Humana's offerings and health care data. Develop data driven applications. Clinical intervention programs, member facing applications, and internal productivity applications. Continually refine and elevate the team standards and development patterns with new and emerging technology and ideas. Build bulletproof test suites around the applications you're developing to enable rapid and quality releases. 100% Telecommuting permitted within the US.
This position requires a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field, plus 1 year of experience as a Data Engineer, Developer or related occupation.
This role requires 1 year of experience in each of the following:
• Programming in Python.
• Cloud Platform including AWS, Google Cloud or Azure.
• Docker Containerization including Docker or Kubernetes.
• CI/CD Pipeline Design.
• API frameworks including FastAPI or Flask.
• RESTful API concepts.
• version control systems including Git.
• software development best practices.
• Machine Learning Framework including TensorFlow, PyTorch or Scikit-learn.
• Data Pipeline Development.
• data manipulation libraries including Pandas or NumPy.
• Application Programming Interface (API) Development.
• PySpark for processing large datasets.
• Databricks.
In lieu of a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field, plus 1 year of experience as a Data Engineer, Developer or related occupation. Employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field, plus 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer, Developer or related occupation.
This role requires 3 years of experience in each of the following:
• Programming in Python.
• Cloud Platform including AWS, Google Cloud or Azure.
• Docker Containerization including Docker or Kubernetes.
• CI/CD Pipeline Design.
• API frameworks including FastAPI or Flask.
• RESTful API concepts.
• version control systems including Git.
• software development best practices.
This role requires 2 years of experience in each of the following:
• Machine Learning Framework including TensorFlow, PyTorch or Scikit-learn.
• Data Pipeline Development.
• data manipulation libraries including Pandas or NumPy.
• Application Programming Interface (API) Development.
• PySpark for processing large datasets.
• Databricks.
