Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Demonstrated experience in psychiatric or behavioral health nursing
• Proficient understanding of mental health conditions, de-escalation strategies, and crisis intervention
• Strong clinical assessment skills with the ability to respond effectively to urgent situations
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation abilities
• Current BLS certification preferred

Responsibilities:

• Assess, monitor, and document the mental and physical health status of patients
• Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans based on patient needs
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and protocols
• Utilize de-escalation techniques and ensure a safe therapeutic environment for patients and staff
• Provide patient education, support recovery initiatives, and involve families or caregivers appropriately
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated mental health care
• Maintain meticulous patient records and adhere to regulatory and facility guidelines
