Quality Control Inspector

Quality Control InspectorWe are seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join a precision manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on inspection role for someone who understands CNC machining, tight tolerances, and the importance of catching quality issues before they reach the customer.The ideal candidate has experience inspecting CNC machined components and is comfortable working with CMMs and standard precision measuring equipment.ResponsibilitiesPerform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of CNC machined componentsOperate and perform inspections using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, indicators, and other precision measuring equipmentRead and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and customer specificationsVerify dimensional tolerances and document inspection resultsIdentify nonconforming parts and communicate quality concerns with machinists, supervisors, and engineeringSupport first-piece and in-process inspectionsMaintain accurate inspection and quality documentationAssist with root cause investigations and corrective actions when neededHelp maintain calibration and proper use of inspection equipmentQualificationsPrevious Quality Control or Quality Inspector experience in a CNC machining or precision manufacturing environmentHands-on experience operating CMM equipmentStrong understanding of CNC machining processesAbility to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawingsWorking knowledge of GD&TExperience with precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, gauges, and indicatorsStrong attention to detail and ability to work independentlyPreferred ExperienceExperience inspecting tight-tolerance machined componentsCMM programming experienceExperience with PC-DMIS or similar CMM softwareFamiliarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar quality systemsExperience with first article inspections and inspection reportsWhat We're Looking ForWe want someone who understands machining and quality from the shop floor.
