Your Impact We are looking for a hands‑on, results‑driven Plant Manager to lead our Mebane, NC manufacturing facility. In this high‑visibility role, you will drive operational excellence, lead Lean transformation, and play a key role in scaling production to support our continued growth. You’ll be instrumental in building a high‑performing culture, launching new production capabilities, and ensuring top‑tier performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost. What You’ll Do Lead day‑to‑day plant operations, ensuring alignment with production goals and customer commitments Drive performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity (SQDCP) Lead new product introductions, line startups, and facility expansion efforts Champion Lean Manufacturing (VSM, Kaizen, 5S, Standard Work, SMED, A3 problem solving) Build and sustain a continuous improvement culture and Lean Daily Management System Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards Partner cross‑functionally with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality teams Develop and coach high‑performing teams, fostering accountability and engagement Use data and KPIs to drive performance, decision‑making, and operational improvements What You Bring 7+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, including plant operations Proven experience in plant startups, expansion, or scaling production Strong background in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement Experience in battery, electro‑mechanical, or similar production environments is a plus Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills Why Join Sunlight Batteries USA Be part of a mission‑driven organization focused on sustainability and innovation Lead and shape a growing manufacturing operation Make a direct impact on operational performance and business growth.
