Building Maintenance
Perform building and grounds maintenance and repair as assigned by the Head Custodian or building Principal.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Cleaning building including mop, sweep, vacuum, dust, polish, and maintain floors.
- Help with summer building cleaning and maintenance.
- Building security after school and during evening events.
- Help with snow and ice removal.
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
High School Diploma/GED preferred
Custodial experience preferred
Knowledge:
Stripping, waxing, and sealing floors
How to properly clean spaces
Skills:
Able to use cleaning, waxing, buffing, appliances and tools
Physical Requirements:
Heavy lifting up to 50lbs
Moving furniture
Sweeping and mopping
Climbing a ladder
Shoveling snow
