Pay or shift range: $23.75 USD to $32.74 USD The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Description

The Medical Assistant II (MA) is responsible to the Clinic Manager, Assistant Manager, Nurse Supervisor and/or provider and works under the direct supervision of a licensed medical professional. The Medical Assistant II must be a certified MA and able to perform all tasks of a Medical Assistant I with excellent competency. These tasks include delegated clinical and administrative duties. Collects, records, and reports patient care data, carries out age-specific, direct patient care, performs/assists with general and specialized procedures and treatments per protocol. Provides full range of Medical Assistant assigned duties and support in the clinical ambulatory care setting.

Qualifications

Education:

• AAMA, NHA, NCCT Certified or AMT Registered Certification required at all times
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Card required at all times

Work experience:

• Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred

Essential Job Functions:

• Lift and carry up to 15 pounds
• Sit for long periods of time – up to 6 hours per day
• Effective professional verbal and written communication skills

Compensation $23.75 - $32.74 DOE
