Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents per physician orders and care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and injections as prescribed; document accurately in the chart
- Monitor vital signs, assess condition changes, and report findings to the charge nurse
- Assist with activities of daily living and comfort measures; promote dignity and independence
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to update care plans and ensure smooth transitions
- Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant environment; follow infection control and safety protocols

Requirements
- Active Alabama LPN license in good standing
- Graduation from an approved practical nursing program; current credential
- CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
- Ability to work the night shift (3x12) and adapt to a skilled nursing environment
- Proficient in documentation and use of electronic health records
