CNC Machinist $25-$42/hr (12086)

Adecco is seeking a CNC Machinist for one of our preferred clients out in Ballston Spa.Pay: $25 to $42 per hour depending on experience. Shift: 7:30am to 4:00pmKey ResponsibilitiesSet up, program, and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment to produce precision componentsRead and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) specificationsSelect appropriate tooling, fixtures, and cutting parameters for each jobPerform in-process quality inspections using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM)Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish requirementsPerform routine machine maintenance, including lubrication, cleaning, and minor repairsIdentify and troubleshoot machining issues related to tooling, fixturing, programming, or materialMaintain accurate production records, inspection logs, and work order documentationFollow all shop safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and adherence to OSHA standardsCollaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to meet delivery schedules and quality goalsParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing effortsRequired Qualifications3+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environmentProficiency operating CNC mills and/or lathes (Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, or similar controls)Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T calloutsExperience with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.)Solid understanding of cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and machining best practicesStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environmentBasic computer skills for reviewing work orders and documentationPay Details: $25.00 to $42.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
