We are seeking an adaptable and compassionate Physical Therapist to provide full-time support covering a maternity leave from November through February. Desired Background and Experience:

• Active Texas Physical Therapist (PT) license (required)
• Previous school-based experience is highly preferred
• Adept at designing and implementing individualized therapy plans for students in grades K-12
• Familiarity with IEP processes and teamwork in multidisciplinary settings
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services to a varied caseload of K-12 students across multiple schools
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other service providers to support students’ functional and academic goals
• Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to IEP meetings as required
• Participate actively in the school community and foster positive relationships with staff and families
• Adapt therapy strategies to meet student needs in diverse settings

This contract offers a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week for the duration of the assignment, providing stability and an opportunity to make a real impact during a critical coverage period. Candidates will need recent fingerprint clearance through TEA and must provide references from their two most recent supervisors.
